Could life get any worse for her?

At my age most teenage girls hate their moms but I have such a close family that i would do anything for her. So my current problem is that she is having the worst time with life. She grew up in an abusive home were she had to cook and clean, and when something wasn't done right her dad would beat her or lock her out of her house for hours. Then when she grew up she married (what she thought was her true love). Together they got through her first two cancers (Hodgkins and cervical) however about two years ago she was again diagnosed with cancer (this time lung). Her husband (not my actual dad) was with her through her surgery and half of her chemo then out of the blue he decides that he wants a divorce. Half way through her chemo he threw us out with no where to go and no money literary we had nothing there was only one person working and that was my sister working a Walmart and that went to the house we finally found. It was a terrible house it was 100+ years old it had black mold everywhere there were gaps between the floor boards and there were gaps between the wall and floor and the ceiling even fell down on us.(by the way living with my mom is me my 3 other sisters, my 2 brothers, and my oldest brothers girlfriend who ate everything and didn't give us a dime) we were then kicked out of that house just so the landlord could more his 5 children in it. We then had to move to another house 2 hours away with only enough room for me my mom and my sisters. my brother had to go live with my aunt and uncle and my oldest brother and his girlfriend had to get their own place (which is actually a good thing however he is now living with us till he gets his own apartment) We are currently still living in the same place but having a terrible time keeping up with the bills because once again only one person is working (my oldest brother) and only spending it on himself and not really helping with bills. we are only getting by on the checks that come from my real father for child support and the ex husband for my little sister. she doesn't even have enough money for her medicine that she really needs without them she might die. I really what to help my mom i'm currently trying to find a job and so are my sisters even my mom is and she has only 1 and 1/3 lungs left (from her surgery) and she can hardly lift anything because she still isn't fully healed. I dont know what to do I really what to help and everyday she struggles trying just to give us a better life and no one is here helping her she is the best and I just want her to have a better life without worry and without fear of were we are going to be in the next week or what we are going to eat tomorrow . she gives up the money for her pills just so we are able to be warm and so we can stay here... I pray every night for something to come to make life better but still here we are...here she is trying to do the best for us.I don't know what to do Please just give me some advice someone i don't know what to do we just need so much help. I know life could be worse and i know that there are people out there that have it worse and i try to think of them and how good i have it and i know i do but i still cant help but think of my family and my mom. My mom is so strong she tries her best to hid her pain and sadness but it comes out at some points she even wishes that she would die just because she thinks that everyone's lives would be better.I just want her to be happy and safe because i wont always be in this house with her. He even attempted to run her over with a van. Throughout the marriage he cheated on her. even after the split he bad mouthed her told lies about her to the point were he friends decided that they no longer liked her they sided with him. everything he said was a lie. He never even loved her he told that to her he said it was a marriage of convenience. HER LIFE HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A LIVING HELL WHY DOES IT JUST KEEP GETTING WORSE.its like it will never get better. why lord why us why her she doesn't deserve this pain this hatred. I'm sorry this is so long i just need help and i need to vent She has given everything up for her family and friends and this is how it ends up Its not right.Please give me advice.

Ice cream food poisioning :(?

Yesturday night after coming back for a 5-day vacation, I asked my mom if the drumstick icecream was still good, and she said yes. So I was the only one in my family that had a drumstick. 15-20 minutes later I was feeling a little sick, but thought nothing of it. Later, at around 8:40 PM I threw up. 30 minutes later I threw up again. Another 30 minutes I threw up. Then another. I threw up 5 times throughout the night until 3:00 AM when I fell asleep. Woke up at 6:00. Fell asleep until 8:00 and I'm feeling pretty nausea right now. Is food poisoning from Drumstick icecream possible? If so how long will it last? I just want to know since I haven't had food poisoning ever and I haven't thrown up since I was 3. Please help!

Sounds more like narcolepsy to me. It's also called sleep paralysis. Google the terms and you will find all kinds of good info on it. I've had it for years. My wife learned that, while I'm sleeping, if I grunt, or make any stress sound she knows to touch me and that would bring me out of it. Good luck.

I think I am having seizures, not sure, help?

Okay this started a few months back, and continues to this day. Every so often, I get really sleepy, so I lay down, but I'm not asleep yet, once I'm closing my eyes trying to get to sleep, I can't move at all this lasts about a minute or so. And sometimes I am able to move my toes to signify family around me that something is going on with me. And other times, like today I was trying to rest then I opened my eyes and they were rapidly moving back and forth and then my head just fell to the side with my eyes open and I couldn't move or blink. I don't know if these are seizures but it only happens when I'm dozing off...someone please explain to me what's going on :(

Weird discharge? please help!?

I am on birth control and have only missed two pills throughout the two months I've been on them and take them as close to 10pm as possible. Sometimes 11:00-12 and the two pills I missed I took immediatley the next morning. My boyfriend and I had sex with a condom yesterday and today I had a brown discharge and then when I wiped I had little light pink discharge. I ended my perioud only 15 days ago. Too many vitamin supplements causing stomach ache?

i always have a sensitive stomach and i have celiacs disease (gluten intolerance) i have no eaten foods with wheat in years and none of my vitamin supplements have wheat they all say gluten free. i started taking biotin with B-complex (to grow out my hair longer) and i take them each once a day and then i also take Lysine (because i have herpes) and a zinc supplement too. the B-complex does not contain iron... why am i getting sick does this have anything to do with the vitamins is it too many? i do spread them out throughout the day

Yes it is quite normal to have that. If the lines/ spots are whiter than the normal teeth, it's because of the enamel that was worn off when you had the braces. If you drank soda, had a lot of citric acid and sugar, than that would be it. But if you did take care of your teeth properly and thoroughly, the lines should wear off at least a little bit, maybe not all the way.

Need help with being an adhd teen and parents?

Aww. Hun, my boyfriend has adhd. I understand. That's exactly how he is and let me tell you, it doesn't get better with age. The only way it gets better is if you take meds for the adhd or if you go to therapy or even just find someone you can talk to without feeling pressured or judged. My boyfriend has had a dramatic difference in the past year since talking to me and feeling accepted. The reason why he doesn't take meds is because he does not have health insurance so it could end up being a lot of money. Adhd people often are smart also, under that concentration problem. You just need a person to explain things to you in a certain way. Maybe two or three different ways. I'll admit, it can be frustrating for the people you love if you don't "get it" right away, but if they really truly love you, they'll sacrifice. It's really not a big deal. Did you try explaining to your parents that you have a concentration disability? If they still do not listen, you can always talk to a school counselor. I hope it works out for you! :)

This could also just be breakthrough bleeding from the bith control, especially if you just started on birth control within the past recent months. You are prob not preg since you also used a back up method of bc. But i would try a preg test if you dont get your period on time this month. I guess the best advice anyone here could give you is to go and see an optometrist (ummm, an eye doctor). It could be anything from an infection (which would require treatment and may be caused by, say, rubbing the eye with a dirty hand) to an irritation.

You could very well be pregnant. Before I found out I was my period came early and was very very very light in amount and was barely there. Some say I had implantation bleeding but what difference does it make? It still was abnormal to me lol. Just test 2-3 wks after your missed/abnormal period and that should give you your most accurate results that you are looking for... Lots of baby dust to you! (:

I had a drug test today and I was dirty but I drank like a 48oz bottle of water that contained a full scoop of "creatine blast" powder along with a water bottle and I also took like 6 vitamin b one daily vitamins to pass but my only concern is that the creatine didnt get into my system fast enough to work i drank 25% of it throughout the day and the other 75% about an hour before the test...Basically my question is would I show up diluted?

35 weeks pregnant and im having headaches when i lie down?

I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant and for the last 4 or 5 days I've been suffering from headaches when I lay down to go to sleep. Even if I doze off when I wake up the headache is still there. It is becoming very annoying. I've been taking tylenol but they only make me sleepy. I also realized that if I sit up or stand up the headache pain goes away, only to return if I lie back down..its hard enough to sleep already. What could be going on? I want some rest.

4th time of ufo sightings?

i'll start from the 4th, i was re-felting my shed roof it was very hot so i stood up to flex my back and looked up above my neighbours roof to notice a silver chrome ball about 40ft above it was about 3 times the size of a football then boom gone really fast i had a 3 second look 3rd this wasn't a sighting but a sound a very weird one i was just dozing off then it came i thought a plane was about to smash through my house but it came to a stop and made like a thumping sound so i just s hit it and hid like a child under my blanket i asked my mum if she herd it i made the noise she said no but my brother heard our conversion and said he heard it to trust it was loud. 2nd me and my cousin (long story short) were fishing and a big plane like an air port plain flew down at us and just stopped silently above our heads for about 8 seconds then flew off like they do in them star trek films we sprinted to the car left all our fishing gear (went bk 4 it next day) funny thing is we were only down there half hour setting up but about 3 months after we were told by a few people we were there for 2 and a half hours even tho it happened i still can believe i saw it. now the first time it happened is when i was a child about 6 years old i woke up in this big room the size of a wear house with nothing but a stair case leading up to a door of blinding light it was the only place i could go so i went up and thats all i remember of that one. there a few other encounters but i sound crazy enough as it is the reason i put this up is just to get it out there if im supposed too i dont know, i hope they dont spank my but for this lol one other thing the world aint gunner end for a long time but that dont mean we are it will just restart over and over lol

Intense stomach pains?!? please help me!?

every few months I get these SUPER intense stomach pains, it usually occurs at around 12:00 to 1:30 in the morning (if I'm awake) or if I'm not awake as soon as I wake up. they are really bad and I end up literally screaming in pain on how bad it is. I immediately try to go bathroom and usually end up taking a massive s***, but even after the pain could persist up to an hour and a half. during that hour and a half I'm usually on the toilet s****** my brains out to oblivion. And while I'm s****** to add to it, the pain is nonstop throughout it, I have no clue as to the source of the pain, although I am self diagnosed lactose intolerant, could it be the consumption of too much dairy products? usually I drink lactose free milk but we don't have much money so I sneak regular milk so my mom dosnt have to worry about buying expensive milk all the time. could it be me drinking regular milk? or if you have any other explanations please help me

Hi, Since I brought my daughter home from the hospital I had always let her nap in her bouncer in the lounge with me. But now at 10weeks old she is getting bigger and bigger and soon she wont be able to nap in there she's already gone from 2-4hour naps to 5min naps and becoming really overtired and upset. I have stopped smoking marijuana (mostly because I ran out, but I don't intend on buying more); however, I have recently relapsed with Oxycodone (50mg). Two nights in a row now, when I try to go to sleep, I hear things that I can't explain. It always happens as I'm starting to doze off. Then last night, again right as I started to doze off, there was two rapps on my door, and when I startled awake, I saw a quick flash of a young boy turn toward my door as if to run away, but it vanished as quick as I saw it. Dont shorten your food intake. You need at least 2500 calories a day. My suggestion is dont eat three big meals but six small ones. It will keep your metabolism going all day which in turn will help with weight loss. Keep drinking water throughout the day. Eat about once every 3-4 hours. Hope this helps.

Im 17 years old and since i was little i always get really bad mouth ulcers. Some of them last up to 2 weeks and after that one is gone, another one will pop up a week or so later. Ive also noticed that im feeling really sluggish throughout the day, even when i have a good nights sleep. My diet consists of very little fruit and veg simply because i hate the taste of it but i do try eating healthy foods like salmon and lots of meat. I had the same thing going on for a good while recently. The best answer that I found was that it is the hearts equivalent of hiccups and that there was nothing to worry about. When she would wake up at night, I was in the habit of just getting up and feeding her. Well, I went back to nights and my husband was at home with her. If he works only 6 days on Fridays, let him get all the rest he needs on Saturday. I don't mean the whole day Saturday, but whenever he has got enough rest by Saturday evening, you can do whatever you and him want to do for the whole weekend. And make sure that he goes to bed early Sunday to get plenty of rest for Monday. He should have a fresh start by Monday. I think it's just taking him some time to get used to it because he is not used to working nights instead of days. I know there lots of jobs that work you 12 hours for 2 weeks. Some work day shifts and some nights. After 2 weeks the employs change shifts and that's hard because the ones that are used to working nights have to get used to working during the days. 30 weeks and some contractions every day, does this happen to you?

It started at 29 weeks but I have contractions like almost everyday some with pain and some that are just braxton hicks. I went to the doctor last week and he says at this point in pregnancy it's normal to feel these. I just think it's so weird that I have them everyday. They don't get worse, just stay the same, and eventually go away. I also have crampiness throughout the day. Do any of you have this going on with you at this point in your pregnancy? Thanks!!! So sometimes wen im talking on tge phone with my girlfriend she'll doze off and begin to sleep talk . When she does this shes always sayn how her ex boyfriend is better than me in such and such ways. When i tell her what she told me she says she has no recolexion of what happened. She cries and swares its not true. Why do you think she says these things that she says arent true? Please help

How do I stop being pathetic?

My feelings are so confused right now. I am deeply in love with someone who does not love me. One minute I am over him waiting for the end to near inwhich I believe it is and the next minute my heart opens to him again. I believe he knows what he is doing. He is playing with my emotions and feelings. I know he does not care but I still allow him to come around and text me when he wants and see me when he wants. He wants to spend time with other women more than me and his guy friends more than me. I am 2nd best and I know it. I am so pathetic it hurts and I know I am. I am a very beautiful woman so it's not the fact that I am ugly on the outside or the inside. My friends tell me I am too good for him and they are most likely right. He keeps trying to let go and help me let go but I keep holding on. How do I stop being pathetic and let go? It has just gotten worst and worst and I don't see the sun coming out anytime soon. I have been in limbo with him for the last 8 or 9 months. The only continued period of happiness I have had with him were 21/2 months out of the last 11 months I have been hanging with him. I just want to breath again. It feels like he stole my heart and locked it up in a box somewhere and then comes to stab it when he gets bored. I am so tired of this but I am too scared to let him go for a sense of how much it would hurt. I should let you know throughout out those 11 months we are still "friends" as he says he doesn't want to hurt me by dating me or becoming exclusive because he knows he would because that is just who he is. I must add that he isn't using me for sex because we have never had sex because I am abstinent and I don't believe in sex before marriage. He has always said he was okay with that. It's not like I want to make him marry me or believe I am the one for him or his future wife so I am not trying to push him into anything.

I'm getting fat but I like it?

I've always been slim but it's fair to say over the last few months I've gotten a bit big. Over winter I adopted some unhealthy eating habits that have carried on throughout the year adding about 30lbs to my weight making me around 185lbs. The only negative is my rapidly expanding waistline and the fact I spend a lot of my allowance on snacks and food. I never used to care for food much but now it all seems so tasty! I can happily eat through loads of biscuits and cakes, I now eat 3 chocolate cream filled eclairs everyday without fail, I know I shouldn't but they taste so damn nice. The only person who makes critical remarks is my mum as she says she doesn't want a fat son and she's tired of buying me bigger and bigger clothes. Like she keeps grabbing my new fat and telling me to get rid. I don't really care about my weight so is this a problem?

This sounds pretty normal. Especially if you are a person that has alot of stress or multitasks alot. The brain can only focus on one thing at a time. And you may not even realize your multitasking. I feel you should try to limit the things you do at one time. You shouldn also try yoga. It helps with stress and keeps you in shape. You may also have ADD.. but you would have to discuss that with your doctor.

My brother keeps farting on me, what can i do about this?

Hi, i have this real issue, my brother who is 4 years older than me keeps farting on me, not constantly, obviously. Like when im eating my dinner, he would sneak up on me and fart either in my face or on my dinner. When im sleeping he would fart on my face when im dozing off. What can i do to stop this? its really disgusting and annoying to me. A few times ive cried afterwards. I told my parents but they dont take me seriously. Alright, so I'm 13 years old and I've been sleeping in a lot. I usually go to sleep from like 12-2 am, and then I wake up in 10-12, so I basically have like a 1-12 hour sleep (mostly 10). So, it's 10:36 pm where I live and I'm already feeling a bit tired, and I have done absolutely NOTHING all day besides sit on my computer and watch videos/ chat with friends. Do I have some kind of sleeping disorder? I feel like I'm getting a good nights rest, but throughout the day, I feel lazy/ groggy. Problems regaurding 'feminine issues'?

i have been on the 3 month depo birth control shot for almost 2 years now, but for the past 9 months or so i have yet to get my period. i recently got off of the shot for about 2 months, and still no period. i have been cramping horribly and my stomach muscles and all tightened around my uterus area. slight spotting has been happening for about 2 weeks now but its always very light and goes away within a half hour and doesnt happen again for a few days. im also having very bad pains throughout my abdominal area and discomfort when i lay down. im bloated as if i would be on my period but nothings happening- any ideas what could be going on?

When my boyfriend and I first started dating 5 months ago, he kind of cheated on me. He comes in 2 minutes later to pee again then he says 'I put a movie in and I am hitting play if ur interested in watching' and he walked outta the room. So I go out there and sit down and watch this movie. He says nothing to me, doesnt hold my hand (he always does when we watch tv), no kiss, nothing. The movie ends and he gets up and puts another one in. Not a word to me, not even looking at me. I go into the bedroom and lay down again. He comes in and says 'im making tator tots, want any?' (in such a monotone voice) I said no thanks. He walks out. What is going on?! I get no explanation, hes acting like he is so furious with me. My friend tells me that hes mad at me cause I am mad at him. Huh? I dont know what to do. I really don't want to talk to him... it will just end up in a fight which neither of us want. I dont even have anything to say to him, and the fact that hes mad at me just makes me even more furious and confused. I think I am just gonna go lay in bed and cry and go to sleep, but what am I suppose to do tomorrow. Knowing him, he will probably act like nothing even happened, I will never get an explanation, or he will still be mad at me. I just need some advice and I dont wanna hear 'break up with him', or that hes cheating on me or hes on drugs or any of that nonsense please. Im just hurting inside and I dunno what to do. Like I said... I really dont want to talk to him, I think he should be the one talking to me. WHats going on here? Thanks

I had the same problem with my second child, I was exhausted too, I would lay on the floor by my daughter's crib, and could sleep thru the day and as soon as night hit, boom, I was awake, it passed when I hit 22 weeks, I tried warm bathes, long walks, and milk, but, for some reason, it passed, it seems like forever but it will pass. Congratulations, don't nap thru the day, it make it worse.

How do you get your newborn to sleep?

I'm so frustrated with trying to get my baby to sleep. He falls asleep in my arms but as soon as I put him down he is wide awake again. It seems to be a pretty common thing among newborns! My son does not like pacifiers so using one of those is not an option. I have tried using the swing but I don't want him to sleep in it while I'm asleep and he wakes right up when I try to move him into his bassinet. He doesn't sleep much during the day either so it seems like he would be really tired. He's not fussy or anything he just seems to be an extremely light sleeper. (maybe all newborns are like this?) I need some tips on how to get him to stay asleep once he dozes off. Co sleeping is not an option either since his dad is a pretty heavy sleeper and I worry he will roll over on him. I do sleep with the bassinet right next to me though!
