Is it weird to be in love for me right now?

I am friends with this girl i used to like, but we decided we were better as friends. I just can't stop thinking about her, whenever I doze off in class or something she just pops into my mind, It's driving me crazy, and she's in all of dreams as well. (none sexual that i can tell) Am I in love? i think i might be falling for her, please help me. is it weird for me to be in love?
