Yeast infection cream? (women)?

i have a yeast infection and i have been using the monistat 7 day treatment. the cream type. im on my 2nd day. after i put it in i lie down. for usually about 10 minutes like the instructions say. but once ive done that when i get up and walk or sit up on my bed the cream still comes out. how long should i lie down? is the cream supposed to harden inside of you or something? im going to start putting it right before i doze off to sleep but i just applied some and i wanna clean my room and get up cuz my back is hurtin from laying on it. please answer my questions above.
